How does it work?
 
The service has been specifically designed with you in mind. Ease of use. 

The website gives you the ability to record all your important information from entertainment to toastmasters, rings to chocolate
fountains and many more categories. You are able to enter your complete guestlist, categorise each guest to ensure your
numbers are catered for and manage your responses quickly and accurately.

The reporting mechanism allows you to take your information off-line to better help you to plan.

Once you have registered  you can create your big day. To do this we require the following information:
 
 
  • A title for your big day – This could be ‘My Wedding’ or ‘Our Big Day’. You choose what you want to call it.
  • The date of your Big Day
  •  
     
    Once you have entered this information your Big Day will be created.

    Your big day is broken into categories which are pre-populated for you. You have the ability to choose other categories from a pre-defined list or if it doesn’t yet exist,  create it yourself. These can then be made available to other couples planning their wedding day.

    Your categories contain all the quotes for your wedding and are easilly accessible from every page.

    Symbols beside each category indicate the status of each area allowing you to quickly identify the categories you still need to look at.

    Each category has its own summary allowing you to breakdown the costs for each one or for the total wedding.

    Adding quotes for your categories couldn’t be simpler. Enter the relevant information into the boxes provided and let the system collate them for you.
     
     
    The system will calculate your expenditure and display it to you in an easy to read format.
     
    Guest List
     
    The guest list facility is a large part of the site and allows you to keep track of your invitations, your adult/child counts, your day or evening totals and tracks confirmations.
     
     
    The guest list has been designed with ease in mind allowing you to add/edit/remove your guests, store information like guest type, family names, and dietary requirements all in one place. The reporting facility then allows you to get at this information from anywhere.

    Adding guests is easy and is as simple as choosing the correct options.

    All entered addresses are added to a central list meaning you do not have to rekey them everytime you add another guest at the same address.

    Deleting guests is handled easilly and invitations can be created and assigned to a guest. This means you can  produce your invitation details in a seperate area of the system so you know how many stamps to buy and how many invites to order.

    The reports are designed with your stationary providers in mind making it easy for you to send it to them and for them to use it.

    Reporting
     
    The reporting menus allow you to produce overview or in-depth reports of your planning.
    The big day summary shows an overview of your big day including total costs, amounts already paid, outstanding amounts and guest list counts.

    The complete big day breakdown shows all quotes for the entre big day with detailed information for each one.

    The guestlist summary shows a breakdown of the guests invited by adult or child, evening or all day invites, confirmations for the above and much more. This report gives you a snapshot of your guests status and allows you to see your expected turnout.

    The complete guestlist is a detailed list of all guests invited.

    The Adults and Children split breaks the guestlist in two allowing you to work with either adults or children seperately.

    We are able to create reports very quickly so if there is anything you think would help you, please feel free to request it.
     
    Diary
     
    We also offer a diary facility allowing you to capture your thoughts and ideas during your planning. The diary is date based and can be printed at any time. When you choose your providers the diary is automatically updated so you can document you planning easilly.
     
    To Do List
     
    Your To-Do list allows you to keep track of those tasks you have to do, the type of task, the date you need reminding and the task status. The system will automatically email you when a task is due meaning you will miss nothing.
     
     
    Summaries
     
    There are many summaries in the system showing total figures for your day, figures for your categories and guest list summaries. You can view your important figures at a glance.
